• US forces to step up operations in Afghanistan and Pakistan
• Pakistani president tells US ambassador strikes 'do not help war on terror'
Against a background of widespread protests in Pakistan and Afghanistan over US operations since Obama became president, the vice-president, Joe Biden, said yesterday that US forces would be engaged in many more operations as the US takes the fight to its enemies in the region.
The Obama administration is to double the number of US troops in Afghanistan to 60,000 and when asked in a television interview if the US public should expect more American casualties, Biden said: "I hate to say it, but yes, I think there will be. There will be an uptick."

As expected Obama's First Missile Attacks:
The strike was the first on Pakistani territory since the inauguration of President Barrack Obama.Barack Obama sworn in again, but without a Bible - Times Online
Pakistani leaders had expressed hope Obama would halt the attacks, more than 30 of which have been launched since the middle of last year, reportedly killing several senior militants.
A Republican congressman from Georgia said Monday he fears that President-elect Obama will establish a Gestapo-like security force to impose a Marxist dictatorship.
"That's exactly what Hitler did in Nazi Germany and it's exactly what the Soviet Union did," Broun said. "When he's proposing to have a national security force that's answering to him, that is as strong as the U.S. military, he's showing me signs of being Marxist."
Obama's comments about a national security force came during a speech in Colorado in which he called for expanding the nation's foreign service.

Tamera Jo Freeman was on a Frontier Airlines flight to Denver in 2007 when her two children began to quarrel over the window shade and then spilled a Bloody Mary into her lap.
She spanked each of them on the thigh with three swats.
It was a small incident, but one that in the heightened anxiety after the Sept. 11 terroristattacks would eventually have enormous ramifications for Freeman and her children.
A flight attendant confronted Freeman, who responded by hurling a few profanities and throwing what remained of a can of tomato juice on the floor.
The incident aboard the Frontier flight ultimately led to Freeman's arrest and conviction for a federal felony defined as an act of terrorism under the Patriot Act, the controversial federal law enacted after the 2001 attacks in New York and Washington.

The Sunday Times
THE Home Office has quietly adopted a new plan to allow police across Britain routinely to hack into people’s personal computers without a warrant.
The move, which follows a decision by the European Union’s council of ministers in Brussels, has angered civil liberties groups and opposition MPs. They described it as a sinister extension of the surveillance state
The hacking is known as “remote searching”. It allows police or MI5 officers ... to examine covertly the hard drive of someone’s PC at his home, office or hotel room.
Under the Brussels edict, police across the EU have been given the green light to expand the implementation [….]involving warrantless intrusive surveillance of private property. The strategy will allow French, German and other EU forces to ask British officers to hack into someone’s UK computer and pass over any material gleaned.

Funny, but true
Atm, massive amounts of commericals in US about Obama, our saviour's new army for the new world:
(will be used to enforce his policies, which are totally in violation of the US Constitution and the Bill of Rights)
Also note Cheney's drive in his last moments as VP to give more powers to the President (source: Newsweek).

“According to reports out of top Chinese mainstream news outlets, the RAND Corporation recently presented a shocking proposal to the Pentagon in which it lobbied for a war to be started with a major foreign power in an attempt to stimulate the American economy and prevent a recession,” Paul Joseph Watson and Yihan Dai wrote for Prison Planet on October 30. “The reports cite French media news sources as having uncovered the proposal, in which RAND suggested that the $700 billion dollars that has been earmarked to bailout Wall Street and failing banks instead be used to finance a new war which would in turn re-invigorate the flagging stock markets.”
A war between India and Pakistan may provide an ideal pretext for U.S. involvement in the region. “Reportedly, the RAND proposal brazenly urged that a new war could be launched to benefit the economy, but stressed that the target country would have to be a major influential power, and not a smaller country on the scale of Afghanistan or Iraq,” Watson notes. “The reported RAND proposal dovetails with recent comments made by Joe Biden, Colin Powell, Madeleine Albright and others, concerning the ‘guarantee’ that Barack Obama will face a major ‘international crisis’ soon after taking office.” As noted above, Obama has made a point of mentioning Pakistan as a target of U.S. intervention.
More info on the RAND corporation:
The Rand Corporation was instrumental with the "Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism Prevention Act of 2007; HR1955 and S1959" A Tutorial in Orwellian Newspeak. If you are an anti-globalist, you are a "home grown terrorist" and "exist in much the same operational environment as al Qaida" and pose "a clear threat..." http://mwcnews.net/content/view/18442/26/
-Keep in mind that the RAND Corporation was set up in 1946 by Army Air Force General Henry "Hap" Arnold as "Project RAND" sponsored by the Douglas Aircraft Company.
-Keep in mind also that Donald Rumsfeld was its chairman from 1981 to 1986 and Lewis "Scooter" Libby, Dick Cheney's felonious former chief of staff, and Condoleezza Rice were trustees...
-RAND maintains that "homegrown terrorism" will not be the result of jihadist sleeper cells. Rather, it will result from anti-globalists and radical environmentalists who "challenge the intrinsic qualities of capitalism, charging that in the insatiable quest for growth and profit, the philosophy is serving to destroy the world's ecology, indigenous cultures, and individual welfare".
-the RAND corporation is from its operational inception in 1948 a major part of the military-industrial-complex Eisenhower talked about.
